I'm stunned by the author's courage in telling such an emotionally raw story with such universal themes. Seriously, just read it - it's the most inspirational thing I've read in a long time. I feel like there just aren't adequate words for how good this book is. This is not just a slow-burn love story (and that aspect is always well done in Abigail Johnson's books) - this is an emotionally hard-hitting book about moving on after incredibly great loss and finding hard-won hope for the present and future.
